Remove any foliage that will fall below the water line
recut the stem ends on a sharp 45 degree angle, do this every time you change the water
to ensure the flowers remain hydrated Place them in a clean vase of DEEP cold water & Change the vase water for fresh cold water as often as possible, ideally every day - especially in warm summer months
Keep your flowers in a cool spot, out of direct sunlight and away from heat
Remove blooms from your arrangement as they fade or wilt
